NEW YORK – Xaxis, the world’s largest programmatic media and audience platform, announced the promotion of Nicolle Pangis to serve as global chief operating officer. Pangis was previously global chief revenue officer for Xaxis where she was responsible for the company’s nearly $1 billion in global revenue, inclusive of media buying and planning, direct sales, agency sales and platform licensing business. She also played an instrumental role in the strategic transaction involving the acquisition of the Xaxis for Publishers business by AppNexus.

As global COO, Pangis will oversee business operations, human resources, strategic partnerships, product management, and technology development across Xaxis’ 40 plus markets in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Prior to Xaxis, she served as president of Real Media Group, a business unit of 24/7 Media. In this role, she led all business operations in North America and Europe, including media and technology sales and operations. Pangis also held several other positions at 24/7 Media including serving as EVP, global media and technology product management.

A member of Ad Age’s 2015 40 Under 40 list, Nicolle holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Boston University and an MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from Rutgers Business School. She served as an author and co-chair for the review and enforcement of the IAB Network and Exchanges Guidelines, and is a frequent speaker at industry events. She received the 2015 Working Mother of the Year Award by Working Mother Media and Advertising Women of New York.
