CPXi’s Programmatic Marketplace Division Unveils ‘Biddr’ to Maximize Publishers’ Monetization Efforts

NEW YORK, NY – bRealTime, the preferred programmatic marketplace that connects the highest quality publishers with sophisticated media buyers, announced the launch of Biddr, a set of header bidding products that provide publishers with proven solutions for increased competition, higher yield and improved operational efficiency.

Through Biddr, bRealtime offers three integration options for publishers to leverage its header bidding technology. Based on a publisher’s current ad stack setup and goals, bRealTime will choose the integration that is optimal. Specifically, Biddr includes:

  • Biddr+ is a container solution that allows bRealTime to manage third party exchanges and SSPs, all competing within one header integration.
  • bRT Biddr is a direct integration that allows the bRealTime marketplace to compete in real-time against the publisher’s current demand stack.
  • Biddr API is a solution for publishers who have their own header bidding stack, enabling bRealTime to seamlessly integrate via standard API protocol.

For its non-API integrations, bRealTime guarantees billing off the publisher’s ad server in order to ensure fair competition within the publisher’s ad stack while driving higher operational efficiencies overall.

bRealTime GM, Brian Weigel, explained, “We are well aware of the frustrations and limitations that have existed regarding the publisher ad server achieving true parity and competition amongst all major marketplaces. While header bidding has helped to bridge this gap significantly, there are still many complexities that exist today. Our goal with the roll out of Biddr is to be able to effectively integrate with any publisher in ways that work best for their current setup. This connection is really only the first step towards what we plan to accomplish through our customized integration executions. Over the course of this year we will be adding a number of features that will allow publishers to continue to best capitalize and sell through their ad inventory as effectively as possible.”

Since launching the header bidding pilot program in September 2015, bRealTime’s Biddr solutions are now live on over 100 websites. Clients have seen significant gains in CPM and overall revenue — ranging from 10% – 75% lift — with the integration of Biddr into their ad stacks.

Viral news and entertainment publisher, WarpedSpeed.com, a site owned and operated by CPXi’s Consumed Media division, recently integrated bRealTime’s container solution, Biddr+, to maximize the efficiency of their ad stack. With Biddr+, WarpedSpeed was able to thread in multiple demand sources through a single header integration, ultimately delivering nearly 70% higher eCPM’s compared to the publisher’s standard ad stack without any added latency.

In another success story, Used.ca, a family-friendly network of local websites that provides the opportunity to buy, sell, trade and search in a safe environment, was an early publishing partner using the Biddr products. Sales Manager, Shawn Magnus offered his insights: “As a publisher, it is important for us to take advantage of the latest yield optimization tactics like header bidding. Since implementing bRT Biddr last year, we have been very happy with the product and service we have received from bRealTime. We have seen a material increase in revenue and it has helped to drive up overall competition across the board.”

Publisher and data-focused ad operations company, Sortable, integrated with bRealTime via their Biddr API in order to help maximize the efficiency and performance of their own header bidding solution. “We integrated bRealTime’s Biddr within our Ad Engine, along with several other header bidder partners. Biddr performed well right out of the gate — so well in fact, that we paused it to make sure it was working properly. The bRealTime team made the integration process easy for us with our custom implementation. The most time-consuming part of getting a header bidder solution up and running is the communication back and forth, but bRealTime’s team is so responsive that we had Biddr implemented and live within only a few days,” offered Sortable Head of Advertising Operations, Daniel Jantzi.
