Influencer marketing platform Buzzoole today announced its US market expansion by opening a new office in NYC. The US market is a strategic growth opportunity that comes shortly after their UK expansion in late 2016, that has resulted in tremendous growth.
Buzzoole was established in 2014 and has since become the de-facto influencer marketing company in its native Italy. The platform already has over 250,000 opt-in influencers globally signed up and uses an influencer affinity algorithm to match brands to creators. Brands are then able to use the platform to select, activate and manage multiple social posts simultaneously.
While the US market is a saturated when it comes to influencers, the opportunity was rigorously evaluated by its executive team, and ultimately decided that the New York office was an opportunity to define the category from a global perspective. Buzzoole combines artificial intelligence, campaign services, real-time campaign analytics measuring true reach, in exclusive collaboration with Nielsen, to provide a true end to end solution that aligns Influencer Marketing with the larger Omni-channel approach.
Buzzoole has appointed Jenni Morrison as the US country manager. Morrison has prior experience in the Influencer space and emerging technology, responsible for cultivating strategic revenue partnership in line with Buzzoole’s 200% growth plan for 2018.
Buzzoole was set up in 2014 and is headquartered in Italy’s growing tech centre Naples. The Buzzoole platform connects brands and influencers for mutual benefit. It uses a proprietary algorithm to identify suitable influencers to help brands take their message beyond traditional marketing channels. The resulting social amplification helps generate word of mouth, engagement, footfall and purchase.
The platform boasts almost 250,000 influencers worldwide and currently works with over 850 brands across a range of sectors, counting Unilever, Tommy Hilfiger, MasterCard, Hilton Hotels, Toyota and many others as clients. The company has experienced impressive growth. The team is now over 60 people strong and expanding rapidly, with a recently-opened New York office adding to those already in London, Rome, Naples, and Milan.
Buzzoole has financed growth via a mix of angel and seed round funding from private direct investors, existing contacts and various venture capital funds. This has been followed by bridge funding to support the opening of several new global markets.
