London: Leading native advertising solutions provider, Ligatus, announced the appointment of Alex Newberry to Head of Publishers, David Mensah to Operations Manager and Matthew Larkin to Head of Sales. Newberry, Mensah and Larkin join the company following the opening of its new London office eight months ago.

Prior to joining, Newberry held the role of Digital Commercial Lead at The Office UK Charts Company.
Joining the team as Operations Manager, Mensah’s background in sale and buy side programmatic experience means he has extensive knowledge of using various ad serving and tech platforms. At Ligatus he will be looking after client consultations and the overall operational flow of campaigns within the marketplace. Previously Mensah worked as Head Of Ad Operations at Luxia Global.
Larkin, joins Ligatus as Head of Sales. Before joining Ligatus, Larkin was Head of Sales at Mozoo and drove the acquisition of new clients and business. At Ligatus he will be responsible for growing agency, trading desk and client direct relationships from a UK and global perspective.
Ligatus, which is headquartered in Germany, has an established presence in 10 countries across the world, offering solutions for publishers, advertisers, and programmatic buyers. The growth of the UK team reflects the growing need of domestic and international advertisers based in London for enhanced native advertising solutions.
Alex McIlvenny, UK Country Manager at Ligatus comments: “Expanding our presence in the UK is an important step in the international business development for Ligatus. Following a successful six months of development and partnerships in the UK, the addition of three new members of team will only strengthen and build on these relationships.”
Alex Newberry, Head of Publishers at Ligatus adds: “As programmatic advertising has taken the blame for widespread brand safety and fraud issues due to the lack of transparency in its supply chain, there has been an increase in demand for native advertising. While working with native programmatic partners who have private marketplaces, publishers gain a clearer understanding of what they are getting. I’m excited to strengthen Ligatus’ existing relationships with its publishers, while forging new partnerships and opportunities.”
