Tru Optik Names Jonathan Bokor As Company’s First Chief Privacy and Business Affairs Officer

Former Agency Executive to Lead OptOut.TV

Tru Optik, the leading audience intelligence and data-management platform across OTT and CTV, announced today that the Company has appointed Jonathan Bokor to the role of Chief Privacy and Business Affairs Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Bokor has nearly two decades of experience in the Advanced TV ecosystem across linear, digital and over-the-top (OTT) and Connected TV (CTV) targeted advertising. Mr. Bokor will report to Andre Swanston, CEO of Tru Optik. He previously served on the Company’s advisory board.

“Jonathan was an early adopter and advocate of CTV advertising and one of the first agency executives to give Tru Optik an opportunity more than four years ago,” said Andre Swanston, CEO of Tru Optik. “He has served as a critical advisor to the Company, and now as a member of our executive leadership team will lead our privacy policies, partnerships and solutions to ensure that we are acting in the best interest of the consumers, publishers, ad tech platforms and agencies that are so critical to the success of OTT and Connected TV.”

In this position, Mr. Bokor will be responsible for Tru Optik’s privacy compliance and enterprise business negotiations and will lead Tru Optik’s OptOut.TV solution, enabling consumers to manage their participation in targeted OTT advertising campaigns.

Mr. Bokor joins Tru Optik from Publicis Media, where he has served as Senior Vice President, Director of Precision Video, providing consultancy expertise to Publicis’ media agencies across addressable TV, data-driven linear TV, and OTT/CTV. He also held the role of Senior Vice President, Director of Advanced Media at MediaVest. Prior to that, Mr. Bokor was General Manager, iTV Solutions at Canoe Ventures where he led the company’s interactive TV business. Mr. Bokor began his career at Debevoise & Plimpton, a New York law firm, and held legal roles at Qwest Communications and NBC Universal.
