SoStereo Appoints East and West Coast Executive Producers as Demand for the Music Solution for Brands Doubles

Los Angeles, CA. –  SoStereo, the company enabling brands leverage real music by real artists on ads and branded content, affordably and at scale,  is expanding its team with key executive hires on the East and West Coast. Seasoned executives Joey Netter and Marcus Nelson have been named East Coast Executive Producer and West Coast Executive Producer, respectively. Netter and Nelson will help propel the company forward with its mission to focus on harnessing the power of music for advertising while supporting independent and emerging artists.

As East Coast Executive Producer, Joey Netter will be responsible for interfacing daily with clients as well as the music and tech teams. She has more than 25 years of experience in advertising, marketing and production. Most recently, Netter was executive producer at Elias Music, a Universal Music Company, where she managed the east coast production of original music and sonic branding campaigns, as well as worked with the boutique Elias music catalog. She also previously held roles at FOX Broadcasting Network, Bozell and Lowe Worldwide. Throughout her extensive career, she has worked with high profile brands and campaigns, including Got Milk?, Bank of America, GE, Verizon, Google, American Express, McDonalds, Toyota, the NFL, NHL and many more.

On the West Coast and Europe as Executive Producer, Marcus Nelson will work directly with clients, connecting brands with culturally relevant music for their campaigns and branded content. Prior to joining SoStereo, German and French speaking Nelson opened the successful west coast office for BUTTER Music + Sound and built BUTTER’s European outpost in Berlin, working with some of the best creatives and largest accounts in the European market.  After working in brand development and strategy, he is returning to the West Coast with SoStereo where he brings a unique perspective, having spent years as a working actor prior to transitioning into advertising.
