NEW YORK – Adaptly, the social media advertising technology company, today announced that Meagan Lopez has joined the company’s London office where she will develop marketing strategies for agency and brand partners in the EMEA region and support key partnership relationships, in the newly-created position of Client Strategy Director, EMEA.

Before joining Adaptly, Ms Lopez was with VivaKi (Chicago and London) for two and a half years where she worked first with Audience on Demand Social (addressable media division of VivaKi) working with clients such as Coca-Cola, Wal-Mart, Heineken and LEGO, then on display, mobile and video advertising educating clients on agency service as an EMEA Brand Relations Manager.
Earlier, Ms Lopez was co-founder of prominent Chicago-based social media marketing agency, SocialKaty, where she oversaw 50+ accounts and 15 account managers. She ensured client and employee satisfaction, and developed processes to support brand and key business initiatives. Working on a variety of verticals from nonprofits to consumer products to B2B, Ms Lopez managed and executed on dozens of successful campaigns across platforms ranging from Pinterest to Facebook to Twitter. Â She was also Social Media Director for Techweek in Chicago.

Ms Lopez started her career as a casting director in Los Angeles. She holds degrees from University of Southern California and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. Her debut novel, Three Questions, was published in November 2012.
