REDWOOD CITY, CA – As consumers gear up for the holiday shopping season, advertisers are gearing up to gain a clear advantage in how to reach them and influence their purchase decisions.

The survey, powered by uSamp, consisted of nearly 1,000 consumers from a nationally-representative online panel to show multi-screen viewing tendencies, digital habits, and media consumption related to holiday shopping trends and preferences.

    • 22% are likely to make a purchase using a tablet
  • 86% of consumers are enticed by ‘Free Shipping’ promotions
  • 79% of consumers shop online in order to take advantage of online-only deals
  • Over a third of consumers plan to watch product videos this holiday shopping season on their smartphones
