London – Fenestra, the independent blockchain ad-trading platform designed to transform the media and advertising buying industries, has today secured Swisscom Blockchain AG as its technology development partner, appointed to continue to build out the start-up’s full pilot system.
Swisscom Blockchain, a major player in Blockchain advisory and development services and specialist Blockchain subsidiary of Swisscom, one of Switzerland’s largest IT and telecommunications providers, will support the development of the company’s full pilot platform. Fenestra will utilise Swisscom Blockchain’s scale, depth of resource and technology capabilities to help build out its minimum viable product, that being the technology on which the company will operate.
Fenestra’s platform is designed to offer a closed user group access to an initial test platform on which users can connect and transact. Swisscom Blockchain will help ensure the delivery of a successful, seamless proof-of-concept, building towards a reliable, water-tight infrastructure, on which the entire Fenestra ecosystem will interact.
The partnership comes quickly following the launch of the platform in February and subsequent announcements more recently on a successful $1.5mn seed funding round – from private investors and high net worths in the US and UK – and the appointment of a President of North America to lead Fenestra’s market entrance into the US. Today’s partnership serves as another example of the scale and speed of Fenestra’s growth to date.
