Mojiva Spins off mOcean, a Fully Independent Mobile Ad Platform

Proven Mobile Advertising Platform Launches as an Independent Company, Providing Mobile Ad Solutions for Publishers, Marketers, and Networks

NEW YORK – Mojiva Inc. announced that it has spun off its successful mobile advertising platform as a new and fully independent company, mOcean Mobile. The mOcean Mobile platform gives publishers and advertisers total control over all aspects of mobile ad serving and campaign management, using proven and already popular technology. mOcean’s launch is unique in that it arrives already having dozens of notable customers, including Mojiva and several other mobile ad networks.

“mOcean is a dedicated company with one mission: to continue to provide a world class independent mobile advertising platform for the mobile industry,” says CEO Dave Gwozdz. “We’re responding to the demands of the market as it struggles with inadequate serving solutions based on yesterday’s mobile environment, or hacks of existing online servers. This platform has proven to be the best in the industry, largely due to the fact that it was built specifically for the mobile Web.

Marketers we’ve spoken with have felt shackled and extremely frustrated with what was previously available to them, so our response was to launch mOcean with all of the resources needed to become the mobile ad serving standard.”

mOcean Mobile currently offers three versions of its platform:

•mOcean for Publishers is a full service platform that allows mobile publishers to organize and sell their own mobile inventory, with a full suite of tools including targeting and reporting, and the ability to fill unused inventory through third-party network aggregation.
•mOcean for Networks is the core building block for any new mobile ad network. It is a plug and play for a network’s advertiser and publisher base, making it easy to build, deploy, and monetize a mobile ad network.
•mOcean for Advertisers is a comprehensive dashboard for managing multiple mobile ad campaigns, including forecast, targeting and reporting across the mobile Web and growing app environment.
“Our intent was always to be an open platform for all providers,” Gwozdz says. “We are now realizing that vision. We’ve repeatedly been asked by the most progressive ad sales organizations, including mobile ad networks, if they could license our software. We feel the time is right to make network versions available, and to do that with an independent, dedicated team.”
