The company added Evan Cowitt as VP Sales, West Region to lead efforts in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington.

Cowitt is a recognized leader in the entertainment, digital and media arenas and has more than 20 years of experience with the distribution and monetization of professionally produced content. He most recently served as VP, Advertising–West for Nabbr and previously held leadership positions at tech leaders including iFILM, Rotten Tomatoes/IGN/Fox Interactive Media and Napster. During this digital decade Cowitt has built national ad sales teams for iFILM, Napster and Freedom Communications, delivering more than $125 million in online ad revenues. He began his work in the technology sector in 1998 when he served as Director of Sales and Promotions at AOL Moviefone (777-FILM).

Early in his career, he spent a decade in the film distribution and marketing departments at The Walt Disney Company where his responsibilities included management of the company’s relationship with McDonald’s. While with Disney, Cowitt was selected by the Studio Chairman to work several special projects including Disney’s first location-based film entertainment offering, The Toy Story Fun House, and the launch of the Anaheim Angels’ 1998 season.
