Australia – Mobile Media – Surveys and Statistics Report Provides Statistical Forecasts To 2011/12

DUBLIN – Research and Markets has announced the addition of the “Australia – Mobile Media – Surveys and Statistics” report to their offering.

This report largely analyses information drawn from the results of several surveys relating to mobile media usage in Australia over the period 2008-2013. Surveys include reports by the Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (Australian Mobile Phone Lifestyle Index and Mobile Traffic Trends), m-Net Corporation (Mobile Data Services Study), International Data Corporation (Mobile Broadband Competitive Analysis) and Morgan Stanley (Internet Trends).

The report also provides statistical estimates relating to revenue across operators in the industry, as well as forecasts to 2011/12. While uptake of new services and mobile advertising is extremely difficult to forecast, BuddeComm predicts mobile data revenue in 2011/12 may approach $7 billion.
