New York –TagMan, the global leader in tag management, today announced it has appointed co-founder Jon Baron to CEO. Baron, an industry pioneer, helped originate and engineer tag management technology, which led to the creation of TagMan, the industry’s first Tag Management System company, in 2007. In the last 12 months TagMan processed more than $24 billion in online transactions for its customers and is the partner of choice for over 150 global etailers and marketers including Travelocity, Vodafone, Virgin Atlantic, Kellogg’s, Marriott and more.

As TagMan’s co-founder, Baron was instrumental in strengthening the company’s European presence. Baron will expand responsibilities to include global leadership for the company’s vision, strategy and growth. Former CEO Paul Cook continues to be a part of TagMan’s success through the board of directors. Baron’s move to CEO comes at a significant time in TagMan’s lifecycle, as the company has grown to nearly 100 employees in 2012, driven by increasing global demand for the company’s enterprise-grade tag management system.
