New York, NY – PointRoll, a Gannett company and the leading provider of digital marketing technology, today announced five new vice president promotions across its senior management team. The promotions include: Todd Pasternack to vice president, digital innovation; Cristina Westwood to vice president, operations; George Thomas to vice president, product management; Shannon Thompson to vice president, publisher sales; and Tonya Jones to vice president, finance. These promotions support PointRoll’s commitment to rewarding top talent within the organization and recognizing these employees’ importance to PointRoll’s growth and expansion.
“As PointRoll gains momentum in 2013, it will require an experienced and talented senior management team to lead the charge,” said Oliver Knowlton, COO at PointRoll. “The knowledge and understanding of our business and our initiatives for this year is something that Todd, Cristina, George, Shannon and Tonya embrace and disseminate. We look forward to continued success and growth under their leadership.”
With over five years of experience fostering and creating digital innovation at PointRoll, Pasternack was promoted from his previous role of director of creative technology. Pasternack’s new role will include thought leadership and developing next generation ad tech products and ideas. He will also be responsible for driving innovation through the exploration of emerging technologies in ways that influence products, solutions, and the marketplace overall.
In addition to Pasternack, Westwood will help lead the strategic direction, talent management and client-focused initiatives for PointRoll’s campaign services organization. As an expert in publisher operations, Westwood has worked to help integrate countless solutions and product sets across multiple levels within PointRoll’s operations organization team. She has been with PointRoll for almost eight years, serving as director of partner and channel initiatives for the last three, and has managed the Midwest and West regions as well as the partner solutions group with strong leadership.
Thompson, who has more than 12 years of experience in digital advertising, has managed publisher sales at PointRoll and played an integral role in developing and establishing the publisher sales team. In her new role, Thompson will focus on revenue growth for PointRoll’s publisher partners through the development of customized rich media experiences and innovative strategies for inventory monetization. She joined the company in 2006.
In addition to Thompson, Thomas will continue to manage product definition, product pipeline and product priorities. He formerly was director of operations and has overseen the strategic vision and product execution of key initiatives for the company, spanning display formats, distribution and measurement. He joined the company in 2006.
Jones will continue to manage finance but will play a larger strategic role in her new post – advising and guiding the leadership team on all financial planning items, financial pro forma modeling and overseeing the budget. She joined PointRoll in 2006, shortly after was promoted to assistant controller and later promoted to controller, where she held a focus on implementing new financial applications and accounting processes to ensure compliance with GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls.
