DALLAS – ad:tech San Francisco 2014, the largest digital marketing event of the year, announced two keynote sessions with top influencers in the ad tech industry. Each speaker will discuss current and emerging digital marketing trends and will serve to educate the audience on untapped opportunities in the industry in 2014 and beyond.

“The Evolution of Digital Marketing: From Content Marketing to Programmatic”

The first keynote on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. PST, titled, “Why Your Business Needs a Serious Makeover – For the Digital Era,” features Ryan Holmes, CEO and founder of HootSuite. The session will discuss the importance of innovation and agility in the implementation of emerging digital technologies within the day-to-day operations across organizations such as HootSuite, drawing examples from their first-hand success. Mr. Holmes will also walk the audience through the evolution of marketing and will share how cutting-edge marketing tools, such as social media, can benefit entire organizations, including sales, customer support and marketing departments.

The second keynote, a fireside chat with John Battelle, executive chairman of sovrn Holdings, Inc. and the author of The Search and What He Hath Wrought will discuss the history and evolution of digital marketing, including its hindrances and untapped opportunities. “The Evolution of Digital Marketing: From Content Marketing to Programmatic” will occur on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. PST and will touch on a generational shift occurring among online marketers, what’s in store for content marketing, the evolution of video and mobile advertising, why new and innovative tools deliver extreme value to publishers and advertisers, and the shift that brands have had to make in becoming expert marketers.
