StickyADS.tv’s Appointment of Massimo de Magistris as General Manager EMEA Marks New Era of Global Expansion

Following five new office openings, StickyADS.tv’s strategic new hire of an ad tech industry veteran supports continued growth in EMEA and beyond

London, UK – StickyADS.tv – the leading European programmatic video supply-side platform (SSP), which provides technology to premium publishers to build their very own private marketplace (or private exchange) – has today taken its expansion programme to the next level by appointing Massimo de Magistris as General Manager EMEA, based in London, UK.

The appointment comes at a time of tremendous growth for StickyADS.tv. In 2014, it opened five offices across Europe and grew from a team of 25 to 60 people.

StickyADS.tv powers programmatic video by encompassing more than 60 platforms, including TV broadcasters, top tier media groups, and premium ad networks. The company’s exchange enables customers to operate a multi-device inventory marketplace according to their own bespoke set of business rules. As a result, StickyADS.tv’s aggregated video inventory has accelerated from 200 million to four billion impressions per month made available to the 90+ media buyers that use the StickyADS.tv platform each month.

Massimo de Magistris initially joined StickyADS.tv in 2013 as Country Manager Italy, and quickly progressed to Country Manager Italy and Spain. As a proven industry veteran who previously worked for advertisers such as Benetton, as well as for international media and adtech companies, de Magistris has more than 25 years’ experience in marketing and advertising. Prior to StickyADS.tv, de Magistris led the Microsoft European division at Atlas EMEA where he managed a global team in five countries, and developed the advertising business.

In his new role as General Manager EMEA, de Magistris will be based in London, UK – a strategic market for StickyADS.tv. He will be responsible for executing StickyADS.tv’s programmatic PMP (or private exchange) business model across Europe, and will work closely with the company’s country managers in the UK, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany. De Magistris will play a key role in the continued development of StickyADS.tv’s growth plan, accelerating supply-side relations by partnering with new publishers, and building new relationships with ad buyers.

“At a time of strong growth for StickyADS.tv, we needed someone with a methodical and determined focus to become instrumental in accelerating our footprint as the programmatic video leader, in Europe and beyond,” commented Hervé Brunet, StickyADS.tv’s CEO. Brunet added, “De Magistris has developed deep industry experience and a wealth of knowledge about our business, delivering consistent, high-value results. We believe there’s no better individual than de Magistris to implement and execute StickyADS.tv’s strategy to offer publishers the opportunity to operate their own private exchange.”

De Magistris, General Manager, EMEA, commented: “At such a pivotal time in StickyADS.tv’s global growth and strategic development, I am thrilled to be part of this industry-changing company. It’s an exciting time for us as we see a surge in the significance of programmatic video buying, and as more premium video publishers begin to understand the benefits of running their own video private marketplace within a brand-safe advertising environment. I’m looking forward to working with both the supply and demand sides to drive the expansion of StickyADS.tv across Europe and beyond.”
