Event Delivers Compelling Content and Facilitates Conversations Around the Topics Front-and-Center to the Modern Marketer
DALLAS – ad:tech, the event for modern marketing and media, announced that thousands of marketing, advertising, media and tech professionals attended this year’s two-day New York event. The event kicked-off with an opening keynote from comedian, actor and podcaster Marc Maron on the fastest growing digital mediums and was followed by compelling keynotes from AMC Networks, Live Nation, Davis & Gilbert, Resolution Foundry, Dunkin’ Brands, Inc., Rising Tide Interactive, Precision Strategies, Facebook, and Twitter. Meantime, the Expo Floor featured more than 200 exhibitors from 63 countries, spanning cutting edge technology in programmatic, mobile, video and more.
This year’s #adtechNY was a huge success! @adtech showcased the industry’s digital marketing visionaries and leaders.
“We were thrilled with the success of our New York event,” said Kimberly Dunn, marketing director for ad:tech. “From top-notch speakers breaking down the latest technology and innovations in digital, to an expo floor buzzing with startup competitions, educational sessions and a fun gaming area to drive mixing and mingling, it was one of our best ad:tech’s to date. The event delivered two straight days of content and conversations shaping what’s next for marketing and tech.”
N3 – NOW. NEW. NEXT – Startup Competition
Day one of the event featured a “Shark Tank” style competition showcasing 12 innovative startups in three distinct tracks – agency, brand and venture capitalist — and an esteemed judging panel from M&C Saatchi Mobile, Thomson Reuters, L’Occitane, Battery Ventures, and Foundation Capital. Finalists Thinaire, AdHawk and Pressboard were then invited to a final round of audience voting on day two crowning AdHawk the winner.
“As part of the N3 competition we were able to network with hundreds of cutting-edge companies and get invaluable feedback from accomplished judges. It’s great to see so many innovative companies come together, share ideas, get feedback, and possibly work together to create a better industry for everyone,” said Todd Saunders, CEO and Co-Founder of AdHawk.
Expo Floor Highlights
The expo floor featured displays from Fortune 500 brands, including IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, eBay, Dish Network, American Express, and Grant Thornton, alongside up-and-coming tech startups such as Koncept VR, Tagazu, Thinaire and StatSocial. First time event features like “The Playground” and the “Needle Bus” provided attendees casual and fun settings to engage with fellow attendees over a game of air hockey or while meeting on top of the bus. Balancing out the fun with education, two “think:tech” theaters featured talks on the power of data, ad fraud and owning your message from companies including Cake, SkipStone, Marchex, Centro, ReachEngine, GoodData, CertainSource, Workfront and Tealium.
Breakout Sessions
ad:tech New York also featured rich content and presentations, on a variety of topics from designing a memorable user experience, to transforming your offline data into online treasure, to cashing in on social commerce.
