Company Bolsters Management Team to Accelerate Growth, Drive Innovation and Raise Its Global Profile
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Metamarkets, the leader in real-time analytics for programmatic marketing, announced that Devan Fearman has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing and Jacob Mattingley has been promoted to Vice President of Product. Devan, who most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for SHIFT, will be responsible for building the company’s leadership position in real-time analytics. Jacob, who joined Metamarkets last year as Director of Product, will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy for the Metamarkets suite of products.
Devan has a proven track record of executing marketing strategies that accelerate growth, define company positioning and generate demand. In her former role as Vice President of Marketing at SHIFT, a social advertising technology company, Devan implemented a marketing program that helped lead to the company’s acquisition by Brand Networks in 2015. Prior to SHIFT, Devan oversaw global brand development, digital marketing, and communication strategy at the Rubicon Project.
“We’re delighted to welcome Devan to the team and expect to quickly benefit from her expertise in marketing communications, sales enablement and product marketing,” said Metamarkets Executive Chair, Deb Rieman. “Programmatic advertisers and business leaders around the world are adopting Metamarkets as their platform of choice for real-time analytics and insights. With Devan on board, we are confident her efforts will help further accelerate Metamarkets leadership position and awareness among data-driven organizations.”
Jacob, who formerly led product management for the company’s real-time analytics platform, has been promoted to Vice President of Product. Jacob joined Metamarkets from Twitter, where he led a team of product managers for Twitter’s infrastructure and core platform. He was most recently a product manager for MoPub, Twitter’s mobile advertising exchange. Prior to Twitter, he founded and built Ubalo, a platform that simplified technical computing and made it accessible for engineers and scientists. Ubalo was acquired by Twitter in 2013. Jacob earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
“Metamarkets has built one of the most sophisticated real-time analytics platforms in the market today, processing large volumes of high-dimensional ad data daily. The complexity of our technology requires our team to maintain a high standard of innovation,” said Metamarkets CEO, Mike Driscoll. “Jacob’s background makes him the perfect fit for Metamarkets’ real-time product infrastructure. Jacob proved tremendous value to the overall organization in just a few months as the Director of Product, and we’re thrilled to have him leading the team in delivering products that help clients unlock the power of their advertising data to drive ROI.”
