Company Expands HQ, Grows NYC Sales Team

Santa Monica, Calif. – VideoAmp, a screen optimization platform that enables advertisers and media owners to transact seamlessly across devices, solidified its team by appointing Nick Chakalos as the company’s first vice president of global TV and data partnerships, a position created to accelerate the company’s strategy around advanced TV. At VideoAmp, Chakalos’ primary role will be forming and managing partnerships with the TV ecosystem.

“Nick brings an unparalleled level of expertise and acumen to a nascent industry that is set to transform the advertising and TV ecosystem as we know it,” said Ross McCray, co-founder and CEO of VideoAmp. “We look forward to leveraging Nick’s talents as VideoAmp finds itself in the epicenter of this transformation and are confident he will be a huge asset to both the VideoAmp team and our clients as we continue to grow.”

“VideoAmp is on the cutting edge of creating a seamless cross screen transaction experience for advertisers,” said Chakalos. “The agility of not just the technology behind the platform, but how quickly the team can execute for partners is unparalleled in this industry.” He will report to VideoAmp Chief Business Officer, Jay Prasad.

Chakalos has over 25 years experience and has held senior positions in business development, sales, product management, general management, and operations. Chakalos previously served as senior vice president of global distribution at Cognitive Networks (which was acquired by Vizio) where he led partnerships with TV networks, television manufacturers and data providers across the globe.
