New North America Sales Lead at Vibrant Media

WebMD’s Ex-VP Sales to lead conversation on new ad tech

The original native advertising company, Vibrant Media, has appointed Josh Ripps as Senior Vice President Sales, North America ahead of the launch of a range of new ad technologies.

Ripps, has more than 15 years’ experience in media sales, more than five of which building and leading high performing digital sales teams. At the start of his career he founded a social network as well as a print magazine.

Ripps’ track record as an innovator became most apparent over more than eight years at WebMD. He used the insight he gained from his consultative sales approach and his early recognition of emerging digital marketing trends to understand client needs and to help to inspire the development of new ad products at WebMD. These talents, accompanied with his ability to develop and direct high-producing sales staff, saw him rise from Director Strategic Consumer Partnerships to leading a twenty-strong team as VP Sales, Consumer Markets.

The SVP Sales, North America appointment comes ahead of the launch of numerous new technologies in 2016 which will add to Vibrant Media’s portfolio of cross-platform native ad formats. They will include a raft of new engagement and traffic driving formats and new targeting technology solutions.
