Consumer-Centric Native Ads To Be Placed Between Paragraphs of Premium Editorial

The original native advertising company, Vibrant Media, is launching In-View: the first user-initiated, out-of-stream ad format.

Unlike most In-Feed solutions, In-View launches upon user initiation and is not strictly restricted to a video experience. It can present a variety of ad creative on both handheld and desktop devices – including video, rich media, static images and content distribution containers, giving brands supreme opportunity to reach their campaign goals. In-View allows brand ads to sit between the paragraphs of premium, relevant editorial. It positions ads at natural breaks within consumers’ content consumption, and, most importantly, never takes users away from the editorial they are reading until they choose to move on.

In-View can accommodate brands’ budgets, audience and desire for various levels of direct response, attention and engagement, and has been built for maximum viewability. The ad campaigns only display when a user intentionally initiates the format and keeps 100% of the ad unit in view – significantly surpassing the 50% required by the IAB viewability standard for video.

Vibrant Media’s unique algorithm places all campaigns within contextually relevant articles, and allows brands to truly connect with their audiences. The technology highlights words and phrases in real time, so that consumers can interact and launch In-View ads that are relevant to the content they are browsing. The non-video In-View formats will primarily be sold on a cost-per-click basis, while the In-View ads that incorporate video will be sold on a cost-per-completed-view basis. All In-View ads can also be purchased programmatically.
