Leading independent cable and satellite entertainment network makes pain-free transition to WO Network
SAN FRANCISCO – WideOrbit is pleased to announce that independent entertainment network REELZ has launched WO Network as its software solution for managing its advertising business from insertion to air to invoice.
Congratulations to our friends at @REELZChannel, live now on our ad business management platform
REELZ’ selection of WideOrbit, the technology platform for media companies connecting audiences and ads everywhere, followed a lengthy search for advertising business software to replace its legacy system. Companies invited to participate in the proposal process were tested on their ability to provide a smooth, timely software migration, their platform’s flexibility for accommodating current and future business requirements, and their past experience with projects of similar scope and scale.
Upon its selection, WideOrbit’s implementation team worked with REELZ staff to unite numerous key business systems – including financial, sales and customer relationship management software – on a single platform. The system went live in late September.
“Our employees couldn’t be happier with the service and care that WideOrbit put into this implementation. Its team was instrumental in our successful transition from outdated software,” said Lori Lung, senior vice president, finance and administration at REELZ. “WideOrbit’s people are knowledgeable, helpful and extremely professional. The training was comprehensive and simple to understand. WideOrbit should be proud to have these people representing it in the field.
“At REELZ, we don’t have vendors. We have partners, which is why we’re so happy to work with WideOrbit,” Lung continued. “As an independent cable network, we want to collaborate with companies that understand our unique business situation, set realistic expectations and deliver on their promises. As our business evolves, we’re confident that WideOrbit will continue to be a reliable technology partner with the right stuff to help us grow our business.”
“It’s deeply satisfying to hear customers say that our software and our people are helping their business excel,” said Eric R. Mathewson, founder and chief executive officer, WideOrbit. “WO Network gives REELZ a comprehensive platform that simplifies advertising business workflows and spotlights opportunities to improve revenue and profit.”
