Emir Teffaha confirmed as Managing Director UK and appoints new Head of Publishers and Commercial Director to meet increasing demand in UK market
London: Sublime, a global high-impact advertising marketplace that creates and delivers premium ad experiences, announced the appointment of Emir Teffaha to Managing Director UK, and his new team with Eddie Boyle as Commercial Director, and Lucy Zakrzewska as Head of Publishers.
The team, led by Teffaha, will support UK operations following Sublime’s rapid global growth to meet growing demand for interactive and high-impact ad solutions. Last year, following the partnership with Kargo, Sublime released six new ad formats, with more in the pipeline for 2019 in the company’s continued efforts to drive multi-device campaigns.
Teffaha joined Sublime as Account Director when he launched its London office in 2014. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the advertising industry, having previously worked for financial, lifestyle, and political publishers. In his new role at Sublime he will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships to build the company’s extensive network of brands and publishers.
Boyle joined Sublime in 2015 as Account Director from adQuota (now adColony), a high-impact Scandinavian network, and has now been promoted to Commercial Director. He has been instrumental in taking Sublime from start-up to established global media business and will now work alongside Teffaha to identify new opportunities and expand Sublime’s reach.
Zakrzewska brings more than 10 years of industry experience, joining Emir’s team from Collective, where she was responsible for overseeing global and UK publisher relationships. At Sublime, she will focus on forming strategic premium partnerships to scale Sublime’s reach across desktop and mobile formats.
Emir Teffaha, Managing Director UK at Sublime, said: “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to increase Sublime’s impact in the UK market. Lucy’s addition to the team and Eddie’s promotion are key pillars in Sublime’s journey to be a premium branding platform. I look forward to working with the new team and continuing to drive Sublime’s success in the market.”
“It’s great to welcome Emir as Managing Director in the UK, and with Lucy and Eddie joining the senior team,” commented Andrew Buckman, COO at Sublime. “Both Emir and Eddie have been integral to the continued success of the company and these promotions are well deserved. Their commitment and hard work have been invaluable and see us start 2019 in excellent shape.”
Lucy Zakrzewska, Head of Publishers, added: “I’m excited to be joining such a dynamic and creative company at the forefront of digital advertising. I look forward to growing and strengthening Sublime’s relationships with premium publishers in the UK market.”
This announcement follows an exciting period for Sublime, having recently expanded both globally and locally, with new offices in Singapore, Lyon and Manchester, as well as ranking 345th on the FT1000 – the Financial Times’ annual listing of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.
