London, UK – Leading skin-based advertising specialist, Sublime Skinz, has announced the appointment of Mike Wood as Head of Publishing UK. Wood’s extensive experience will bolster the team and further strengthen publisher relationships in the region.
Sublime Skinz is the industry leader in skin-based advertising, enabling brands to display prominent and engaging ads, and publishers to effectively monetise their sites while enhancing the user experience. The company is continuing its expansion across Europe, following the opening of its London office in March 2014.
Of the 3,500 high quality websites Sublime Skinz works with globally, 500 are UK based. Wood has been appointed to forge lasting relationships with new publishers in the UK and strengthen partnerships with existing clients. This will enable the expansion of Sublime Skinz’s network of websites – growing the number of consumers that can be reached, increasing opportunities for advertisers, and maximising revenues for publishers.
Prior to joining Sublime Skinz, Wood was Director of Customer Success at Operative Media Inc., managing EMEA sales and all key accounts. Wood has also held director level positions at AOL networks and Adtech. With 11 years experience working in digital media, he brings extensive knowledge of ad serving across display, mobile, video, and rich media that will be invaluable in expanding Sublime Skinz’s publisher base.
Hugo Benguesmia, who previously held the role of Publisher Account Director UK, will focus on the wider EMEA region driving new business development, as Publishing Development Manager, New Markets EMEA.
