DUBLIN – Research and Markets has announced the addition of the “China Advertising Industry Report, 2012-2015” report to their offering.
As of 2011, there were 296,000 advertising business firms in China, a 21.8% year-on-year rise, with the advertising workforce of 1.673 million and advertising revenue of RMB312.56 billion, up 13.03% and 33.54% respectively from the same period of last year.
In June, 2012, the State Administration for Industry & Commerce of the People’s Republic of China released the Twelfth Five-Year Plan for the Development of Advertising Industry, which put forward that during the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015) China’s advertising turnover should keep an annual growth rate of around 12%. In 2015, there will emerge ten or more large backbone advertising companies with annual advertising revenue of over RMB5 billion; more than 50 advertising companies with annual advertising turnover of more than RMB1 billion; and in excess of 100 advertising companies with annual advertising turnover of over RMB100 million.
Additionally, the Twelfth Five-Year Plan also encourages construction of advertisement industrial park areas, and it is expected that, till 2015, at least 15 national advertisement industry parks will be built. By April, 2012, China had issued the licenses for the first batch of 9 national advertisement industry parks consisting of Beijing Advertisement Industry Park, Shanghai Advertisement Industry Park, Nanjing Advertisement Industry Park, Qingdao Advertisement Industry Park, Guangdong Advertisement Industry Park, etc.
