Seasoned Tech Industry Execs Bring Decades of Experience Helping Build Market-Leading Technology Companies

NEW YORK PlaceIQ, the company building more accurate audiences with location, time and real-world behavior, today announced that it has hired two new seasoned business executives, Ed Haslam as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Dr. Phil London as Senior Vice President of Product and Technology.  Both executives bring decades of experience to PlaceIQ and have a strong track record of building market-leading technology companies.  At PlaceIQ, Mr. Haslam will be responsible for driving PlaceIQ’s marketing strategy, leading both the corporate and product marketing teams, while Dr. London will be responsible for setting the PlaceIQ technology roadmap, and overseeing the product management, data science, engineering and infrastructure teams.

“PlaceIQ is growing quickly because the industry continues to see value in the real-world insights that we’re providing about location and human behavior,” said Duncan McCall, co-founder and CEO of PlaceIQ. “As a result, we’re attracting top-tier talent like Ed and Phil, who have the experience, expertise and drive to help push this company into its next big phase of expansion.  Both Ed and Phil have consistently built and led teams that provide market-leading products, awareness and brand recognition and we’re thrilled to have them as a part of the PlaceIQ team.”

Both executives have held several senior-level positions within technology companies and bring a wealth of marketing and technology expertise. Prior to joining PlaceIQ, Mr. Haslam served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at YuMe, where he oversaw global marketing initiatives and helped lead the company through its successful IPO in 2013.
