Improve Digital Appoints New Head of Demand & Partnerships UK

London – Improve Digital, Europe’s leading real-time advertising technology provider for premium publishers, has hired Przemek Kalwa to join its expanding UK team.

Kalwa joins Improve Digital this month as UK Demand and Partnerships Manager and will be responsible for managing demand-side relationships, specifically media agencies and trading desks, and achieving the best possible results for the company’s growing portfolio of premium publishers and media owners. Based in Improve Digital’s London office, he reports into the UK Director of Business Development, Jonathan Di Sapia.

Kalwa brings considerable experience to the position, joining from agency trading desk Amnet where he held the role of Media Partnerships, Program Manager, overseeing global relationships with publishers, SSPs, DSPs, ad networks, and tech providers. Prior to that he worked at Ticketmaster as Senior Ad Ops Executive.

The appointment is the latest in Improve Digital’s ongoing investment in the UK market and comes during a time of aggressive expansion of its publisher roster. That diverse portfolio includes media leaders such as Future Publishing, Morningstar, and Reader’s Digest. Improve Digital continues to scale its operation rapidly across Europe as well, achieving double digit revenue growth year on year and seeing revenue growth of 5466% over the past five years. In light of this success, the company has been recognised most recently in Deloitte’s Fast 500 2014; it ranked Improve Digital among the top 30 fastest growing technology companies across the whole of EMEA.

“Przemek will play a vital role in strengthening and deepening our partnerships on the buy-side of the market, focused on achieving the best possible results for all of our clients and partners” stated Jonathan Di Sapia. “His background in both agency trading desks and on the client side make him a great fit for our customers and a perfect cultural fit for our growing UK team.”

Improve Digital currently works with over 250 of the top publishers and media owners in Europe and, through them, supports the marketing efforts of tens of thousands of advertisers.
