Deutsche Telekom Licenses Adform’s DSP and DMP

Adform’s integrated platform and unique customizable features were key drivers for the decision

Copenhagen – Deutsche Telekom today announced their plans to expand their advertising partnership with Adform. Adform is an International technology platform for digital advertising and media buying that has been responsible for Deutsche Telekom’s ad serving since the beginning of 2014. As of today, Deutsche Telekom will use Adform’s Demand Side Platform (DSP) and Data Management Platform (DMP) for their ad buying. This move makes Adform central to Deutsche Telekom’s Data Driven Ecosystem project. All online marketing channels are therefore being integrated into Adform’s platform – including affiliate, search, social, performance and brand display advertising. The partnership also includes programmatic buying activities. By centralizing its advertising data in Adform’s platform, Deutsche Telekom will benefit from having a complete 360 degree view of their user behaviour, and can therefore increase their online campaign efficiency significantly through performance data.

Centralized consolidation of Deutsche Telekom’s owned data was an essential component for the partnership’s initiation in early 2014, and has been a key factor for Deutsche Telekom to once again choose Adform as their ad tech partner. As of today, all first party data can thus be integrated into Adform’s DMP and is available via their DSP, enabling Deutsche Telekom to use it for both branding and performance based campaigns.

Other than data centralization and the broad functionalities of Adform’s platform solution, Deutsche Telekom’s decision to choose Adform was based on the platform’s ability to customize features for individual Deutsche Telekom user groups. Deutsche Telekom will start using Adform’s solution in the German market, gradually rolling it out to other markets.

“Last year, we quickly realized that we had made the right decision when signing Adform’s technology”, says Stefan Sommer, responsible for building Data Driven Advertising at Deutsche Telekom GmbH. “Back then there was still a high level of coordination needed between all agencies in the ecosystem. But today, we are fully convinced by Adform’s platform and delighted to having established it as our central solution. This makes our daily work with the tool more efficient as well as giving us a better understanding of our data and online advertising activities.”

Adform will be available to answer any questions regarding this partnership at dmexco at their booth in Hall 8, booth C048 on September 16 & 17 in Cologne, Germany.
