AdGenesis Brings Aboard Alec T. Coughlin as Vice President, Business Development

Will be major rain maker for consumer video network that matches brands to those most likely to buy and rewards them for interacting with the content

NEW YORK – AdGenesis LLC, a new consumer oriented video advertising network functioning across multiple media including mobile, online and eventually IPTV where customers exchange buying information for relevant ads and rewards, announced that it has hired Alec T. Coughlin for the newly created position of Vice President, Business Development.

Mr. Coughlin, who comes to AdGenesis from McCann Worldgroup, Interpublic Group of Companies (New York) will be responsible for spearheading the application of AdGenesis’ matchmaking technology to accelerate the combination of evocative content, forward thinking brands and qualified consumers by creating the ultimate branded content destination to satisfy their passions and interests.

Most recently Mr. Coughlin was Senior Vice-President, Worldgroup EXP at McCann Worldgroup and was part of global management team established to develop the McCann Worldgroup response to transformative industry forces including the decoupling of media and the resulting separation of agency creative from production services.  Before that, Mr. Coughlin was Senior Vice-President at William Morris Endeavor, working on the Live Nation business to drive next generation music sponsorship strategies with Mark Dowley, former Chairman/CEO Interpublic Sports & Entertainment Group and current partner of Ari Emanuel, WME CEO.

From May 2007 to March 2008, Mr. Coughlin was with the NFL’s St. Louis Rams as its Vice-President, Sales & Marketing responsible for managing and driving the day-to-day aspects of the Rams business operations that included revenue generation, marketing, sponsor relationship management and the execution of each Director’s annual Business Unit Operating Plan. For three years before that, Mr. Coughlin was Vice-President, Entertainment Marketing for Endeavor Marketing, LLC driving various aspects of rapidly growing agency’s internal and external business operations.  His primary responsibilities included management consulting for the St. Louis Rams and strategic marketing work for American Express accounts as well as internal agency business affairs duties.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Coughlin held management positions with Peterson Peak Performance, LLC (Greenwich, CT); Octagon, Interpublic Group of Companies (Stamford, C T); and Banc of America Securities, LLC( San Francisco). He is a graduate of the University of Southern California holding a B.S. in Business Administration and a focus on Classics.
