ad:tech San Francisco Announces Keynote Session Led by Sridhar Ramaswamy, Google’s Senior Vice President of Ads and Commerce

Ramaswamy’s talk will focus on the Mobile-Driven “New Consumer Journeys”

DALLAS – ad:tech San Francisco 2015, the longest running modern marketing event in the industry, has announced a keynote session featuring one of the most prominent names in the digital advertising industry – Sridhar Ramaswamy, Google’s senior vice president of ads and commerce. Ramaswamy will share insights on today’s consumer preference of interacting over mobile platforms and how this informs the ad products Google develops and, ultimately, what these findings mean for marketers. Ramaswamy will speak on Thursday, May 21 at 9 a.m. PST.

As senior vice president of ads and commerce at Google, Ramaswamy oversees all products and operations relating to search, display and video advertising as well as analytics, shopping, payments and travel. He has been an integral part of the growth of AdWords and Google’s advertising business since first joining the Company as an engineer in 2003, and is a published author on database systems and database theory. Ramaswamy also holds several database patents and a PhD in computer science from Brown University.

The two-day ad:tech San Francisco event will take place on May 20-21, 2015, and will feature industry-leading keynote speakers from world-renowned brands and agencies. The remaining keynote speakers will be announced in the weeks ahead.
