Time Inc. UK, Infopro Digital, Dezeen and Dennis among those celebrated at the prestigious annual awards
London, UK: The Association for Online Publishing (AOP) recognised the high standards and talent across the digital publishing industry with the introduction of two new categories at its flagship annual awards ceremony last night.
Hosted in partnership with PubMatic, the prestigious event at Old Billingsgate in London honoured individuals, publishers, advertisers, agencies and suppliers who consistently deliver engaging, distinct and innovative digital content. Now in its 16th year, the awards are regarded as one of the industry’s most anticipated annual events and the benchmark for digital publishing excellence.
“Once again, the Digital Publishing Awards has proved an excellent opportunity to celebrate and showcase the talent within the ever-changing digital publishing industry,” commented Richard Reeves, Managing Director at AOP. “This year we were especially pleased to recognise the achievements of smaller publishers with the new Small Digital Publisher of the Year award won by Dezeen, and commemorate the achievements of young individuals in the Rising Star category, with Alex Crossley at Olive taking the win.
“The talent exhibited across all 22 categories this year has been exceptional, with all finalists showing a deep understanding of their audiences and the tools needed to engage users in this challenging landscape. We are delighted to give all winners and finalists the recognition they deserve.”
This year’s ceremony saw the Best Editorial Team of the Year – Consumer accolade awarded to The Independent, while Auto Trader picked up a double win in the Best Research and Best use of Data categories.
